Well, I guess I haven't been scientific enough (as usual).
I never suspected I may actually have an empty record in my cursor. I do have an empty record in a table, but it's deleted. In my form (I tested) I have SET DELETED ON.
Why then this deleted record ended in my cursor? It is indeed marked as deleted.
But at least it is not a bug and just me.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
