>I copied a production vfp program to test side. Next I modified the test program. Now I want to bring the fresh data from production side into my test program. Some of the table have a primary keys that run a program to generate primary id (my program has program called nextid to create new keys being called in the default value section "nextid("employee")" ). Is there a way to bring raw data from production side into test side without creating new id's? Also is there a way to copy all the table data from production side (all tables are in dbc) to test side in one go while ignoring the creation of new id's? My goal is to take the test program and put it into production after I have copied the data from the original production program.

Nick,
As I understand there is no relation between two datasets other than structures, no? A simple folder copy it is, isn't it?
