Umm, I don't think so. The Republicans kicked Foley out once it was wideley known what he did. The Dems had an opportunity to do the same for one of theirs and their response was to get him to offer an apology and he was still sitting in congress until his death. Your information is incorrect.

Here's a refresher:

Studds was censured for sexual misconduct by the House, then went home to his constituents to answer questions in a series of public meetings and interviews with the press.

I don't know why he wasn't prosecuted as a sex offender. A seventeen year old is NOT an adult. He should have gone to prison and been tagged as a sexual predator for life. The Democratic party has no shame.
