I have been building Foxpro and Clipper applications that can share data (yes in a true multi-user environment). The only thing you need to do is to purchase the SIX-library. This lib is included with Clipper as DBFCDX but it's a stripped version of the SIX-library.

This will automatically convert dbt to fpt's and gives you the ability to share them.

An other method is to open the file in FoxPro and to conver the memo-field.
