>>Believe it or not, you get accustomed to the hot sticky summers in the south :o) I'm from Wisconsin originally and I have lived in Oregon, Washington, Arizona, California, Colorado, Texas, Virginia... After so many years here, I now get cold when it drops below 60 degrees!

>False, I've been around here all my life, and I'm not used to August. I usually break for Colorado about that time. The bad thing is, I have to return, in August. The rest of the year is pretty good.
You know, I hear exactly the same stuff here, but in reverse. I've lived all my life in Canada. Almost all of it in Toronto with a break of about 11 years in Edmonton. I still hate winter. Friends like to tell me that I hate winter because I don't involve myself in winter sports, and it's a lost cause trying to explain that in reality, I don't get into winter sports because I hate winter.
When I was in Edmonton, 30 to 40 below zero Celsius (about -20 to -40 Fahrenheit) was not uncommon, and while I loved Edmonton itself, they can stuff the winters where it hurts, afaic.
