To be fair, Al Gore has always been an environmentalist. He has attempted to bring the public's attention to environmental causes and issues for his entire career. He did a great job doing the same for global warming. If bringing the public's attention to global warming (still a debatable issue in my mind) is that important, then I heartedly support his nomination. Just too bad that his special was based on so much bad science... :o)

On another subject, just to be fair, since he told us via the media that he brought the internet to the world, why isn't he being nominated for worldpeace via world communications???? :o) ROFL...

>Safe bet that Bjorn Lomborg wasn't the one who nominated Gore...(I guess it would have been an "inconvenient debate") <s>
