>It is good to have as much functionality as we can get from a development language. It's just that I'm not sure if the whole idea behind scrollable forms is right from an UI standpoint. Maybe it's just me, but the idea of placing controls not visible to the user at form's start gives me the creeps.
J.,
I don';t necessarily like scrolling forms either, but when you hit that wall where the client insists that the fomr strictly match the printed form they use, well, there just ain;t no way of maoppin an 8 1/2 inch by 11 inch paper to a 640 by 480 screen. In fact if you notice, the screen is wider than it is tall and the paper is taller than it is wide, its a lost cause to try and get a form on screen to match a paper form without scrollbars.
