Ok, ok, I screwed up my math on the year.

A documentary I saw on the rush to go to war with Iraq and using false intel had some interviews with Lawrence Wilkerson. He is one of the admins biggest critics and was Powells rite hand man.

Wilkerson said you could see how torn up Powell was when he would come into Wilkersons office to announce that they've shown another of Powell's talking points to be false. So I do believe he was totally duped.

But you are correct that the silence on the matter from his end is surprising.

>>I kind of feel sorry for him thou. He was definitely a tool of the admin in this case.

>I do not feel sorry. I lost all respect for him long ago. Either he was a liar telling the UN and us lies, or he was duped into telling lies and he believed it to be the truth at the time. When he found out, and he did very shortly after that speech, he had a moral choice as a person and an obligation as an Officer and a Gentleman to resign and denounce the liars and apologize publicly for having deluded us, him being deluded.
>
>He did neither. He stayed on until the end of the fiest term. He is therefore, in my view, just as responsible as the rest of them for all this mess and has the blood of over 3,000 thousand of our own, plus countless innocent civilians on his hands.

>BTW, you have your math wrong. It's 4th anniversary.
