Clearly though I will not be able to be as "lazy" as I was in 2.6 and I will have to keep track of my changes. I will also have to make sure I only run the update appropriate to the version installed at the time. Using the blank table - append from method of 2.6 I didn't need to know the version of the old data. 2.6 took care of it for me.
It is impossible to make programs idiot proof. Idiots are too cleaver.
