I got a Celsius/European version of this last year, and there were fewer references to Iowa, but more to Canada and Russia... something like

-20 Italian cars break. Russian cars have problem starting.

-30 Lawyers put hands into THEIR pockets. Russian cars start only with a push. Canadians finally go out to play hockey.

-40 Finland decides it's time to bathe inside.

etc etc... that's as much as I could remember.
