I am running a simple report containing a few lines of text and a logo (pasted directly in from a graphics package).

When I print to my HP OfficeJet printer the report appears as expected.

When I print the same report immediately to networked Canon colour printer I produce a grayscale print. The canon's settings are set up to print in colour as default; I've printed other colour documents to this printer and they turn out fine.

The person for whom this report is intended mentioned that he had come across a similar problem previously; the designer of the previous report had to produce a new report that allegedly corrected the problem. I am not aware of any particular setting that could control this within Crystal Reports.

Has anyone else encountered this or a similar problem? Does anyone know of a possible cause for a Crystal Report to print erroneously in grayscale rather than the colours specified in the printer's settings?
