Him talking about GW.

Global warming/global cooling... whatever is happening, can man do something about it other be efficient and conserve our natural resources?

>>The bigger question is what can be done about it?
>>
>>Before anyone tell me to conserve... I do. We don't have a SUV or a truck. We make sure we turn off lights where we don't need it. We use micro-wave oven when possible. We even cut don't on outside grilling. I even walk instead of ride when playing golf.

>From what I've seen most of the warming of the earth had already occured prior to the industrial revolution of the 1890s and since. There has even been a cycle of cooling and warming.
>
>Personally, I don't trust all these global warming nuts. Why would they want us to ratify a treaty that lets China off the hook, yet rapes the US economy?
>
>As for conservation, I'm on board. I built my house so that it has an air lock at every entrance. It is zoned for heating and cooling and the system works pretty well. I also have some passive solar heating and I put in my own ecosystem by digging a 1/4 acre pond where there was a drainage problem. My average utility bill is just over $200.00 per month for 6,000 sft. so let's hear it for conservation!

>This, he continued, was the problem of global cooling. There is mounting evidence that long before the global warming threat begins to become serious, we may be entering another glacial age. This man is Dr. Khabibullo Abdusamatov, and he reached his conclusion from his readings of solar cycles.
>
>Dr Abdusamatov notes that there are three types of solar cycles – an 11-year, a 100-year, and 200-year. The effects of the 11- and 100-year cycles afford little cause for concern. The 200-year cycle, however, is a very different matter.
>
>Dr. Abdusamatov said that a global reduction of temperatures would become evident about halfway into this century because solar radiation will be receding. The big chill will begin slowly, gathering pace between 2050 and '55. In effect it will repeat the conditions recorded between 1645 and 1715 when all canals froze in Holland and severe cold forced the evacuation of many communities. "The coldest years of the middle of the 21st century will be warmer than at the end of the 17th century," he said.
The American Republic will endure, until politicians realize they can bribe the people with their own money.
- Alexis de Tocqueville

No man’s life, liberty, or property is safe while the legislature is in session.
– Mark Twain (1866)
