This is why I have so much trouble with it all - well, one of the main reasons at least. There was a time when people believed in many gods. Mythology is mythology, and until somebody can give me a good explanation of why one 'Jack of all trades' god is better than a lot of specialized gods, and that there is some reason why this one shouldn't be viewed as just another mythology, I suppose I'll just keep seeing it that way.

I can't help thinking that 2000 years from now, assuming there are still people around, we'll be looked back on as foolish believers in some silly mythology in the same way we see similar beliefs of various ancient peoples.
