Wrong. I am a skeptic by nature. I do question anything I read/see on the news. It is not true just because it's on a book or a newspaper. That said, there are plenty of direct and indirect evidence, plus a modicum of common sense and some experience to conclude it was not a hoax. In science there is a principle called "
Occam's Razor" which basically says that of several possible expalantions start with the simplest. The simplest, believe it or not, is that there were
moon landings. It is so unbelievable complex to trick the people (and the Soviets at the same time) about such a thing for so long that it would not work and it in itself would strecth credibility. This Occam's principle is somewhat akin to the layman's world "
KISS Principle".
