Of course the US does things that suits her, just as every other country in the world does. I never said we did anything out of benevolence either, I suspect we rarely ever do, it usually has to do with money, politics, power, or other such items.
If you read some of my other posts, I generally am not a USA cheerleader. I think we are one of the most wasteful, corrupt, and stupid countries ever to grace the face of this planet, and the Iraq boondoggle is an example of that, quite probably the worst mistake in US history.
but face it, we did save your Butts in WWII! Not long ago, you guys controlled a good deal of the civilized world, now you don't, and that is your own fault, not ours. Just like when the US becomes unraveled in a few decades it will be our fault, not yours.

>If you are referring to England when you say "them", we stood alone in two world wars until the USA finally decided to "join in". My experience of the USA is that she generally does things that suits herself. If the Japanese hadn't bombed Pearl Harbour, who knows what would have happened?

>Whoever you are referring to, your attitude displays your arrogance. I suppose you are saving Iraq's "butt" right now?

>England just made its final WW2 "mortgage" repayment to the USA. Clearly, you didn't do everything out of sheer benevolence.
