I use buffering when users want to edit whole table in a grid. Besides that I have no reasons to use it. Every class/form has two generic methods that basically go around form controls (they are subclassed) check particular property (i call it fieldsource) and either fill control values or collect them to table record. Child grids are populated by cursors and updated/saved through similar functionality. I'm very comfortable dealing with data/interface this way so buffering will not make it for me much easier.
