The human being is condemned for its proper inclination to destroi.. itself and the others.. We always have been doing this..

Think on how we are inclined for destruction of ourselfs: by bad thoughts, by our vices, etc.. and how we are inclined for destruction of our belovers: by destroyed of relationships, by affection lack, proud, etc..

The act to confess is first of all an act to "swallow" itself and to understand that we can have a superior force who can take care of us.. be humble..

The Romans book talks a lot about it.. specialty on:

Romans 9 15-16 "For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy."

Romans 9 18 "Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth."

Romans 10 4 "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

Romans 10 6-7 "But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead."

Jesus Christ won the death and his bigger promise is that by him we will also win..

But the promisses of Jesus are not only for heaven.. He has great promisses to be lived here..

Ephesians 3 20 "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,"

my own life is witness of this promise of HIM..
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, Ephesians 3:20
