>Regardless of Walter's political views, the Dutch are as brave and steadfast as the best U.S. troops. They have fought by our side too many times to even consider throwing stones. The idea is even disgusting to me. The same goes for the elite French troops as well. Political leaders send troops to war, the soldiers don't get to choose which to participate in and which to stay home for. I have worked side-by-side with troops from many countries and I have only met one or two (from countries I will not name) who did not earn my utmost respect. I can say this, some of the greatest were French, Dutch, German, English, and yes - Canadian troops.
