Try Compile Form. Try it on the previous version too, then save, then try to repeat your edit. It may contain some error somewhere, which it pretty much ignores while the compiled code doesn't have to change. I think when you move a control, the property change enforces the recompile of the code (even if it's only properties) for that control. By forcing a recompile, you should at least get some error and that'd be a clue to what's wrong.
