First of all I agree with the rest of the responders.
It's not bad news. It's just the the breaks. I have a tough time getting tubes for my old ham radio equipment too.
Have you tried setting compatibility mode in the properties of the shortcut? It *might* help.
You may also be having problems looking in some (actually lots of) folders in Vista. I no longer have Fox/Dos here to even try though.
