Barbara, thanks for your reply. Is it the functional equivelant to simply turn off autoclosetables and autoopentables properties? I have since figured out my problem, but in order for it to work properly, i had to "set skip to child", but only for running the report. If I leave it on while running the form, the navigation buttons no longer work properly. They react as if attached to the child database instead of the parent, no matter which is selected.
I wonder if you would be interested in "cleaning" up some of my messy coding. I am a private consultant (one man show!) and occasionally need to network with other "foxy" people! I am looking for a consultant to tackle parts of the app that I can't or don't have time for... Send me some info and rate info if you don't mind!
