>The page of the url you kindly provided shows how to set up a Blackberry to receive email from Earthlink wireless. I don't have Earthlink wireless account but rather a DSL POP3 email (the type of email I get on my Outlook). I got "Blackberry for Dummies" book last night from a library. And even there, from what I read so far, it is not clear if a Blackberry will receive POP3 (not-wireless) emails. I stopped at a Verizon store a few days ago and the salesman there told me that I need to have a dedicated server in my office for the server to push messages from my Outlook to the Blackberry. Then yesterday I talked to another salesman (from Nextel) on the phone and he said that Blackberry will get POP3 emails. But I am not sure if he meant POP3 emails from Wireless providers or from any provider. I will keep searching for the correct answer.

Section 3a, step 6, second part, it says
"To add your EarthLink email account (or any other compatible email account*), click the Add Account button, and follow the on-screen instructions. *You can set up your handheld to receive email from IMAP/POP3 email accounts, as well as Web-based email accounts like MSN, Hotmail, and America Online (AOL)."

... which basically says some will work.

Just above that it implies that email address ending in @earthlink.net will work "EarthLink members can enable email forwarding by signing in to My Account. To do so, visit the following Web page: myaccount.earthlink.net."
