I have a VFP5 Table that I have imported data into no problems once.
I used copy stru to temp.dbf to make a copy, I then attempted the same import from the same .SDF file into the new table. This went well. I then attempted to use the APPEND FROM command e.g. from temp.dbf into my original table called ltolast.dbf. I get an invalid data error but I have checked the 2 tables and they are identical. If I use append blank and replace fields I also get the error. But I can open and brow the 2 tables on screen and manualy copy fields from table to table with no error. What could possibly be wrong.
COPY STRU TO should ensure likeness and the fact I set the temp table to be exactly the same as the original including named fields and index's sends me around the twist! Can anyone HELP!!!!
