You'll find the majority of code examples for ASP applications in VS.NET are using either VB.NET or C# for codebehind files. Take time to poke around in both languages to see which is more comfortable for you before you dig really deeply into ASP development.

You can always switch languages (for that matter you can use multiple languages in a project), but you are likely to find a language that really is comfortable for you personally.
