The same thing happens to WPDos under VISTA as well. Although, if you can print to a file, there is a utility (PrintFile at
http://www.lerup.com/printfile/ ) that works for printing in Word Perfect for DOS under VISTA that should also work for FPD26:
See
(Method B) at:
http://www.columbia.edu/~em36/wpdos/winprint.html>Under Vista, when you map a network Printer as say LPT1:
>Foxpro2 no longer see the printer and instead it returns Printer NOT Ready.
>
>
>So, all printing functions will STOP working, unless you have a direct LPT Cable connection to a printer (which is getting harder and harder to find both on the Computer side as well as on the printer side).
>
>We have been using LPT mapping in Windows XP for the last few years, and everything has been working just fine.
>
>Using the DOS Edit the mapped LPT port works just fine under Vista. So, the problem must be the way Vista makes the LPT port available to FoxPro2 that is somehow different.

>Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
