I have never thought about that, but need to check it out. The Mozy web site says that the data is encrypted during the file transfer and encrypted on their servers. They also apparently offer a private encryption key. I need to look into that.

I've been pretty happy with Mozy, but I was only using the 5 GB option (I just upgraded to Unlimited). You download a program from Mozy which starts when your system starts. I guess it constantly monitors file access to determine which files change during the day, then backs them up to the Mozy servers at night.
