I do wish they had updated OS installers that had fairly up-to-date patches from time to time.

Then your customer could buy them on eBAY or from counterfeiters or wherever for many years after MS ended support.

I wouldn't touch one of those systems at a customer site though. I will not take the responsibility for what can happen (that a lawyer (aka bottom-feeding dirt-bag) will convince a customer was your fault).
