I think you're misinterpreting the problem.
In my opinion it's telling you that IIS Work Process has tried to execute (but could be access or change) an instruction that it either is not allowed to do OR (most likely) involves a RAM address outside of its own address space.
But of course that's just my interpretation. I've had it many time for IE7 on WinXP-Pro.
