Barbara's suggestion is good. To start with, you might want to check out your \vfp\samples\graphics\ folder for some ideas...it contains bitmaps and icons that you can use to dress up your form. Another suggestion -- use tool tips for any control (buttons) in which you substitute a picture for words.

I don't know why, but most of my clients seem to be of the same mindset as yours. Pictures (combined with tool tips) seem to be the most amazing thing to them.
