I'm looking at automating some email process.
Looking at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/297700I can test my mail by dropping files in the pickup folder on my PC and they then get emailed correctly.
But if I use Blat I have to specify an SMTP mail server.
How does the first method know how to route the message out of my PC.
