True. It's sad in a way, agreed, but it's the world we live in. Our parents were probably freaking out when we were growing up, too.

I feel fortunate that Allie and Emily have not had any serious troubles and that we still have an open dialogue. There are things we don't talk about but they know they can always count on me. I must be doing something right.
