The closest I have seen to this is the Infragistics Ultra Grid.
Ultra Grid is now part of their COM products suite.
It is a Heirachial grid with lots of snazzy features.
Works off ado recordsets
Takes some coding though.
Has a few VFP compatibility issues though.
Not to good for very very large record sets like +50000 rows.
