Mike,

I'd recommend it *highly*.

I've used VPC since it first came out (and wasn't free) and I can't count the number of hours it's saved me. In fact, in one instance I've actually taken a drive image of a client's machine, restored it into a VPC session, and debugged their problem that I couldn't reproduce on my own hardware. Saved me a trip to the West Coast (at my own expense) and got results a lot faster, not to mention allowing me several nights of sleep I'd have lost -g-.

In fact, one of my clients (a defense contractor with two *huge* VFP apps) is now using Virtual Server (the enterprise version of VPC) for testing their software before release. Makes it simple to assign as many testers as you need and not worry about their individual hardware configurations mucking up the test results.

>>Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 will handle this task as well, and it's *free*.

>So you would recommend this? I remember seeing it once, but I never used it. I guess you can't beat the price of Free.
