I was using an Inspiron for a few months, and just when I started getting used to the eraserhead, I heard (from my then boss) that this tiny piece of rubber costs like hell to replace, and that we got only one spare with the machine, and that I should take care that it doesn't get lost. And that one was really easy to take off. Knowing that any rubber piece that gets handled will come loose over time, I just stopped using it and got me another mouse.
