Had an interesting experience yesterday. I had my 8-year-old nephew in the back of my car. He noticed a little "door" on the armrest and opened it up and wondered what it was. I told him it was an ashtray. He didn't know at first what that was.
I'm boggled and delighted to think that we may be raising a generation that doesn't know about ashtrays as a matter of course.
