Calabassas, CA -- No smoking anywhere in town except in your own home. You can get a ticket for driving through with a lit cigarette. In the six months since the ban went into effect, three restaurants have closed/relocated.

A local country club outlawed smoking on its golf course.

No smoking on any public beach from Santa Barbara to the Mexican border.
