I tend to agree with this, however this is not a black and white thing. For example, we have a lot of laws that involve personal safety, like with driving with alcohol and drugs, using seatbelts, using helmets on a motorcycle, etc. They are there to protect the citizens from being ignorant and prevent the community to pay the bill if accidents happen (we do have public healthcare).

So I'd say. Grant me freedom as long as it does not harm another in direct or indirect ways.
