I have a Latitude D800 with both the touchpad and the eraser and one of the things I hate about it is the extra mouse buttuns right under the space bar. Just often enought to be annoying I hit the left button with my thumb when I press the space bar and I have that same zoom to the mouse cursor effect. It took me weeks to figure out it was that extra pair of keys rather than the pad that was the problem.
