I'm considering reformatting my laptop and installing 64Bit Vista (I've had 32bit Vista on here since November). I'd like to try to get the best performance out of my hardware if possible.

Best I can tell, There are 64 bit drivers for all of my hardware (this is a Dell 9400/E1705).

I'm thinking about running a 32bit XP or Vista OS under Virtual Server x64 in order to get around issues with VS2005 and other SW that is incompatible or flakey in a 64bit environment.

Anyone have any experience with this?
