We have created a Linked Server in MS Sql Server that links to a VFP9 free table directory. The link works and we can query the table. The problem we are having is that the query speed is slow, about 10 seconds per query.

Assuming that the VFP table(s) are optimized, is there anyway we can speed up the query times for this Linked Server? Would this be a communication issue? Are query times normally fast when using VFP and a Linked Server?
