I all the latest conferences I have been to, MS stated that VFP9 is the LAST version of VFP. In teh future there will be ONLY changes made to make it work with Vista. All other changes come as add-ins like Sedna. ANd thay are mostly the work of 3rd party gurus.
So, it seems clear to me, that VFp as we know it is at it's last burst. But it'll live on in our hearts...

and MS had announced a final support date (don't remember but 2014 come to mind)

As I am probably retiring close to that time it does not bother me. If you are younger, be happy about that. And learn some newer technologies...

But the fizz went out of VFP :-(
