I just checked -- his name is Brandon Rogers. My one concern is that his winning confidence could deteriorate into cockiness. That would not go over well with the voters. It's in their hands now. The judges continue to offer their opinions but it is no longer their decision after the preliminary rounds.

Simon Cowell, as annoying as he can be, has taken some unfair shots lately for supposedly dissing Jennifer Hudson of "Dreamgirls" when she was a contestant. In fact Simon liked her. It was the audience who voted her off.
