Well, as I wrote to Sergey, I have re-installed VFP9SP1 before Christmas, but never thought, this could have caused the effect of the disappearing column.
Now to you ideas:
- I have restarted Visual FoxPro and independently also the machine as well -> no changes
- I think I have the usual settings set. For instance the reported observations were all made with SET FIELDS OFF. If I SET FIELDS ON then I get error 12 - Variable "OBJNAME" is not found, though it is there if I take the solution with the "X"-es (see my mail to Sergey)
