Thanks for your help. But unfortunately this does not solve the problem, it seem that the MouseDown keeps on running if I am leftwards of the minimum left width. To release it I have to bring my cursor back to the place where the splitter has stopped moving so I can see the double headed cursor and then click, now the MouseDown is freed.
