I think it's us, you and the Chinese that do the most imprisoning (per capita) in the world (look up a few URLs for us, Tracy :-). Our gaols were full a few weeks ago, so there was a big stink when a few paedos were set free to make room. The govt. just announced the building of 2 new prisons over the next few years. Trouble is this Labour govt. keeps inventing new crimes all the time so, like car nos. soon grow to fill up any new road capacity, as fast as they build the accomm. there'll be "criminals" waiting to fill them.
