It could be that you aren't sitting on the correct alias at the moment - it may help if you could get the errorlog and look at the status, to see which alias was current, with which tag active, and also in the memory list to see the values of the two variables above.

My guess is that one of the tables didn't open, or that wrong alias was selected for some other reason, and the seek() was trying to seek a character value on a numeric tag, or something like that.
