>Anybody here have any recommendable dog breeds? My wife and I are in the market. I want a lab for hunting/horseplay and she wants a quieter inside dog.

You yanks and your hunting! You're not happy unless you're killing something!

ANyway, I'd recommend a lurcher: Any running breed crossed with a greyhound: e.g. a deerhound typically. We used to have one that was a deerhound-greyhound cross border collie-saluki. Looked like a young wolfhound, ran like the wind and was so soft you could leave a baby's head in his mouth for safe-keeping.

We used to take him rabbit hunting and he caught a hare first time out.

Talking border collies - they're soft, friendly, gentle, quiet, intelligant, obediant and full of innate skill, and the most beautiful faces with soulful eyes.
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
