I'm a cat person too. I had a girlfriend a while back who had both. And the cat was more fun to play with. So I finally got my own a couple yrs ago.

My wife turned me into a cat lover. Cats are great. We have persians - they're the perfect breed, as far as I'm concerned. They like to play, but they're also very laid back and even-tempered. They've never growled or hissed.
