I was mauled severely by a corgi (bit of a cross I think) when I was little (still bear the scars), so I've always hated them and resented the Queen's favouring them./ Hellen Mirren, being interviewed by the BBC re the Oscars yesterday, was talking of how fond she got of the delightful dogs whilst filming "The Queen". Now I've gone off her too!
