>>>I'm a cat person too. I had a girlfriend a while back who had both. And the cat was more fun to play with. So I finally got my own a couple yrs ago.

>>I was mauled severely by a corgi (bit of a cross I think) when I was little (still bear the scars), so I've always hated them and resented the Queen's favouring them./ Hellen Mirren, being interviewed by the BBC re the Oscars yesterday, was talking of how fond she got of the delightful dogs whilst filming "The Queen". Now I've gone off her too!

>Funny how these things affect us. When I was a kid, my aunt had an English Bulldog, and except for the slobber, he was great. To this day, I still always smile when I see one.

After that incident my friend down the road's parents had a Yorkie bitch. She had pups and I was at his front door admiring them; one of them yelped and I was scared of it. It took me a good few years to get over it. One day, walking to school I was approached by a large boxer, which growled at me. I was terrified. I was cured after my mum got a Heinz 57 called Bimbo, who grew up with us.
